As our products involve digital content and immediate computational resource consumption, our refund policy differs from that of physical goods. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

Refund Eligibility

While digital goods are generally non-refundable once sold, we offer refund options in the following specific circumstances to protect your rights:

1. Subscription Services

  • Refund Window: If you are a first-time subscriber to our service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase.
  • Usage Limit: To prevent abuse, your account's AI generation usage (or Token consumption) during the billing cycle must not exceed 10% of the total quota (or the specific amount we stipulate) at the time of the refund request. If your usage exceeds this limit, we will be unable to provide a full refund.
  • Renewals: For automatic renewal charges, if you contact us within 48 hours of the charge and have not used the service during this period, we may assist with a refund at our discretion.

2. Pay-As-You-Go (Credits/Tokens)

  • For separately purchased credit packs or pay-as-you-go services, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase if you have not used any credits.
  • Once a credit pack has been used, the remaining portion is generally non-refundable.

3. Service Interruptions

  • If you are completely unable to use the service for more than 24 hours during your paid period due to a technical failure on LabGen's part, you may apply for a pro-rated refund or receive corresponding service time/credit compensation.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

We will not process refund requests in the following situations:

  • The request is made after the specified refund window.
  • You have substantially used the service (e.g., generated a large amount of content, downloaded high-resolution images, etc.).
  • Your account has been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service (e.g., API abuse, account sharing, posting prohibited content).
  • Refund requests made solely due to a change in personal preference ("change of mind") after substantial computational resources have been used.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us via the following method:

  • Subject: Please specify "Refund Request - [Your Username/Order Number]"
  • Content: Please provide your registered email address, order number, purchase date, and a brief reason for the refund request.

Processing Timeline

  1. Review: Our support team will review your request within 3-5 business days of receipt.
  2. Notification: Once the review is complete, we will notify you of the result via email.
  3. Refund Arrival: If your request is approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. Depending on the processing speed of your bank or payment institution, funds usually arrive within 5-10 business days.
